{"id":12328,"date":"2024-02-19T09:47:19","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T09:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theshoebox.org.uk\/?p=12328"},"modified":"2025-03-03T14:44:36","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T14:44:36","slug":"weve-reached-our-first-fundraising-goal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theshoebox.org.uk\/the-shoebox-experiences\/weve-reached-our-first-fundraising-goal\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;ve reached our first fundraising goal!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tom here &#8211; I can scarcely believe I\u2019m writing this message so soon into our crowdfunding campaign, but I\u2019m delighted to announce that we\u2019ve already surpassed our goal of raising \u00a330,000 for a deposit on our Castle Meadow premises!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you so much for all of your support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve now set a new stretch target of \u00a350,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These additional funds will go towards helping with the refurbishment of the building to enhance our community hub and the overall visitor experience. We&#8217;ll also look to restore parts of the old Ponds Shoe Fitters shop floor to create a more immersive experience and bring the building&#8217;s history to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will help to attract new and returning customers and in turn create profits to support our varied community activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdfunder.co.uk\/p\/hidden-street-norwich?utm_source=Experiences+Blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=Preserve+Hidden+Street&amp;utm_term=Donate\">View our crowdfunding page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re beyond grateful for all the support and contributions we\u2019ve had.
