Hidden below Castle Meadow, between the market and the Norman Keep, you can discover the past of our fine city, with its trades, houses and people. Ponder the myths of eerie prison cells, hidden streets and curious tunnels. Come help us unlock the many mysteries of this space…

This tour is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible as it involves two flights of steep stairs and uneven flooring.  The two flights of stairs do have handrails and a fold up chair can be provided if you need a place to sit down during your tour. Our underground space is an unheated environment which can be dusty.
