Celebrate the magic of Christmas on The Chronicles of Christmas walking tour. Begin at The Shoebox before setting off through Norwich’s scenic, illuminated streets to explore the celebrations and traditions that have shaped the festive season, from Roman winter festivals to Victorian Christmases.

Returning this year with an extended experience and the option to purchase a festive takeaway drink, the tour lasts approximately two hours and runs on selected dates from late November until Christmas. It is suitable for all ages.

From there, this enchanting walking tour will lead you through Norwich’s scenic, illuminated streets on a voyage of discovery through the centuries, exploring the fascinating stories and quirky traditions of the festive season before finishing at the Royal Arcade.
