City of Centuries Tour

This tour is a collaboration between The Shoebox Experiences and the Association of City of Norwich Tourist Guides. Led by a Blue Badge or City of Norwich Tourist Guide, you will journey around the city’s historic landmarks. Nip through Norman Norwich and weave your way through the wealth of the city that was once second only to London.

Easy stroll, beautiful sights, incredible history

This tour’s route is wheelchair and pram-accessible and is suitable for all ages. Starting at the 21st century Forum and finishing at the 11th century cathedral, this one-mile, 1 hour 45 minutes walking tour will meander through the medieval streets and past some of the 31 parish churches of Norwich.

Perfect for locals and visitors

Even if you know the city well, this walking tour is sure to shed some light on the city’s past. Spanning over 1000 years, take a journey back in time and enjoy learning about the people and events that have made Norwich what it is today.
