The Everyday English group recently came together for a cheerful picnic at Waterloo Park, where members had a fantastic time practicing their conversational English in a friendly, informal setting beyond The Shoebox. The day offered a wonderful chance for everyone to relax, connect, and celebrate the progress they’ve made learning English together.
Abby, the group leader and dedicated volunteer, shared her thoughts with us:
“Facilitating Everyday English is an inspiring, rewarding and life-changing experience for me. We’ve come together as a group to support one another and regularly meet up for walks and events, like the picnic we recently attended, organised by Norwich Refugee Week.”
