Volunteering.

The Shoebox Community Hub

Over the years we’ve been blessed with some fantastic volunteers who have helped us to ensure The Shoebox Community Hub is a safe, welcoming place for all.

We’re a small team and rely heavily on the support of our members and volunteers to run our community hub and keep the venue looking its best.

The opportunities for volunteering vary from helping us to give every member a warm welcome to hosting a group at The Shoebox to supporting our Baking for Wellbeing projects and much more.

Do you or your organisation have a skill you would like to share to give back to the community? Get in touch to see if you can help! Email us on team@theshoebox.org.uk.

Volunteering is a great way to gain new skills and experience, make new friends and give back. It’s also a chance to share your existing skills to help make a difference.

We will post our current volunteer vacancies below as they arise. If you’d like to be kept up to date on new volunteering opportunities at The Shoebox, please sign up for our mailing list and select to receive updates on ‘volunteer opportunities’.
