Our Book of the Month is revealed!
On Friday 22 November, we hosted our very first book group in Great Yarmouth at our cosy hub. It was a fantastic start. Members enjoyed warm drinks while engaging in lively conversations. We shared our favourite books, explored new genres and discussed the stories that inspire us.
The highlight of the session was choosing our next read for the group:
Rosen’s Almanac: Weird and Wonderful Words for Every Day of the Year by Michael Rosen.
This lively and insightful book will give everyone plenty to talk about at our next book group meeting.
If you would like to join our book group or follow along from home, you can borrow the book from Norfolk Libraries. Alternatively, you can find it online or in all good bookstores.
Our next group meeting in Great Yarmouth will take place on 19 December, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Even if this month’s book is not your favourite, don’t worry. You can read whatever you enjoy and still join us for good conversation. Our group celebrates reading that makes your spirits soar. Everyone is welcome.
