Pay what you can membership
Join our flexible ‘pay what you can’ membership scheme to enjoy our brilliant membership benefits. Our recommended contributions are below but we recognise that everyone is in a different financial position so we operate on a ‘pay what you can’ basis.
Our recommended contribution is:
£10 per month – For those regularly attending groups and activities
£2 per group – For those attending occasionally. Eg. members of monthly or fortnightly groups
These contributions can be paid in cash at The Shoebox or online here.
Give the gift of community – If you would like to pay it forward, you can make contributions to cover the cost of those unable to afford a membership. This helps us to keep our hub accessible and continue the ‘pay what you can’ membership offer. You can make an online payment here.
Sign up as a member online by clicking the ‘sign up now’ button below or get in touch with our friendly team if you have any questions.
Community hub
Community spaces
We have a range of spaces in our hub available for community groups to meet including our cosy community lounge, our bright, open event space on the first floor and our calm, quiet meeting space on the second floor.
Self serve refreshments
Help yourself to a great selection of teas and freshly brewed coffee from our refreshment counter. You may even find a homemade cake or two baked by our lovely volunteers. Just pop a donation in our honesty box/pig.
Community groups
From creative writing groups to friendly social groups to a supportive running and walking club, there is plenty to get involved with! Check out what’s on at The Shoebox here.
Due to our wonky Grade II listed building, we have very limited accessible spaces for groups to meet and do not have an accessible or step-free access toilet. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. If you would like to discuss if our community hub has appropriate access and meeting space for you, please get in touch.
